Luke has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2017, following being a recipient of the Jean Fraser Campbell award from Fanshawe College for having the highest grade point average in the program. Becoming a massage therapist began with positive experiences with his therapist after a rotator cuff injury, fostering a newfound interest in health sciences. He first completed a Food and Nutrition Management diploma at Fanshawe College in 2014 and a diploma in Natural Nutrition at CSNN in 2015. He then completed his 2200 hour training program in Massage Therapy at Fanshawe College in 2017. Following his Massage Therapy diploma, Luke continued his education at Western University, completing a 4 year Honors Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2023, achieving a 3.95 overall GPA on a 4.00 scale. Needless to say, Luke is a wealth of knowledge that he enjoys sharing with his clients to improve their lives. His next life-long learner continuing education pursuit that he has on his radar is an Advanced Thai Massage Practitioner Program in Thailand. He has already completed 3 continuing education courses in Thai massage in Ontario since starting his practice.
Luke's clinical interests include neck, shoulder, and lower back conditions utilizing manual techniques and physical exercise as a treatment and form of lifestyle medicine. He enjoys his career because it allows him to benefit others holistically while utilizing his hands-on skills and knowledge of health sciences. Since beginning his career, Luke has taken numerous continuing education courses related to massage therapy and has additional certifications in Thai massage, cupping, Indian head massage, advanced thoracic techniques, laser therapy, and pain science. In his time outside of work, Luke enjoys cooking, going to the gym, spending time in nature, working on his car, and being with his friends and family.
